Rolleston Indoor Bowls Club
Although the new Club was formed in 2005, there had been play for about twelve years in the old village hall.
We are a thriving club, non profit-making, serving mostly Rolleston people. As it happens, members are mainly in the 'older' age group, but this is pure chance; there is no age discrimination.
Our aim is to keep membership at about 24 as this allows 8 players on each of our three mats if everyone turns up.
A few keen outdoor players will not play indoors at the same time, so there are always smaller numbers of players in Summer.
Bowling is on Tuesday evenings from 7pm until 10 pm. It is all friendly, informal, and just for fun. It is certainly good for those who do not want to travel on Winter evenings.
We keep a waiting list of anyone interested, and a trial period of 4 weeks is available for anyone to try before joining.
