Rolleston's  multi-functional venue, is the half-million pound culmination of a ten-year dream, offering customers every up to date facility.

Rolleston is also closely linked with Kate Greenaway, the Victorian childrens illustrator who spent many of her childhood summer holidays staying with relatives in the village.

Her summers were spent in Nottinghamshire with relatives. It was this area that she loved so well and depicted in her artwork. Her love for flowers grew out of the many gardens she saw there. She especially liked the neatly tended and tidy gardens.  The clothes worn by local children appealed to her, and the delightful pictures she drew of them led to children everywhere being dressed like the children of Rolleston!
